Faculty

College faculty are full-time, qualified and friendly professionals, always there to guide the students and are specially trained to understand student’s psychology, internalize the knowledge uniformly and put across ‘difficult to understand’ concepts with ease, thus making a student’s learning venture smooth and easy. The whole training time is equally divided into theory and practical sessions as per the University guidelines. Apart from regular computer time, students are allowed to utilize unlimited machine time to exercise their minds, boost their creativity and increase their level of curiosity. This builds-up their self-confidence, allows them to explore the wide horizon of concepts and gradually shapes them into confidents professionals.

Library

College has its own well-maintained library consisting of about 8,000 books of different subjects along with periodicals and journals, CD, and DVDs. The College also subscribes to a number of magazines & journals. The library is managed by trained & efficient staffs who personally guide the students in selecting the relevant books.

Computer Lab

The Computer lab of the college has been designed & developed to meet the requirements of the students. There are various packages that are offered to the students. Internet facility is also available. The multimedia facility is available and the latest software is introduced to the students. In order to improve the internet connectivity and speed, College provides ISDN facility to its students. The College has total of 100 Computers which is distributed in three computer labs. It also has LCD Projector for Live practical teaching and presentation.

Physics and Chemistry Lab

Our selection of physics equipment is designed to ensure that you can find everything you need to deliver your full curriculum and give your students a thorough understanding of the subject. From tools and measuring equipment to materials and samples, as well as educational posters illustrating relevant principles and theories, we provide a one-stop shop for all your lab needs.

The general chemistry laboratory is designed to support and illustrate chemical concepts studied in the lecture portion of the course, as well as to introduce important laboratory techniques and encourage analytical thinking. The chemistry laboratory at SECT College give students the opportunity to perform experiments that explore important chemical concepts and introduce proper lab techniques and safety.

Sports

The College has its own playground and provided facilities for playing badminton, volleyball, cricket and soccer in the College Campus, Sports activities are organized by college and students are also giver opportunities to participate in inter-college competitions. Some of our students also have been selected overseas in various activities.

NSS (National Service Scheme)

NSS, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Govt. of India, popularly known as NSS was launched in Gandhiji’s Birth Centenary Year 1969, with primary focus on the development of personality of students through community service. In our college, it started in year 2015. Various activities like plantation, traffic awareness programs, various diseases awareness programs, educational seminars ad guest lecturers, blood donation camp etc. were held till date. There are almost 150 volunteers in our NSS team.

Placement Cell

A centralized cell has been established by the AISECT, our parent body with an objective to provide information and guidance to the students about opportunities of jobs in industries/business houses/educational institutions/organizations/private/public sector companies and to build capability for the self-employment potential. The placement officer communicates with students and interacts with them directly at the time of their counseling and in classes. Many of the students of our college have been made a place for themselves in a number of leading firms throughout the country. Some of them also joined Institutes for higher studies.

Scholarship

The College awards each year a number of prizes to students for high achievement in academic & extra-curricular activities.

Scholarships and other financial aid are given to deserving students on the basis of need-cum-merit. All type of govt. scholarship provided to the students like SC, ST, OBC, BPL, Gaon ki Beti etc.
